Learning the Faith

This area of the website is devoted to resources for learning about the faith and liturgy of our Church.  There are three levels of study. 

For those who are starting out with little or no previous knowledge of Catholic Christianity we recommend the series Introduction to the Faith. These short articles may also be useful as the basis of a Confirmation course.  They can be downloaded and made up into pamphlets for evangelistic purposes, since each article, printed out in 12pt Times New Roman, will fit on to three sides of a folded A4 sheet, leaving one side as a title page. 

The Cathedral Study Guides are suitable for those who already have a grounding in the faith and want to deepen their knowledge of key aspects.  They will be added to from time to time. 

Finally we are starting a series of studies based on the Nicene Creed, which is the doctrinal standard for all Catholic Churches.  The first study is already in place, and the remainder (eleven in all) will follow as they become available.
